HP 8590E/L Series Crystal Shorts Set

Set of three crystal shorts for HP 8590 E/L series spectrum analyser bandwidth modules (A11/A13) XTAL/LC alignment procedure.

Made as specified in the service manual using a series capacitor and resistor. The pin socket was carefully selected to have the wiper contacts very close to the end to ensure good connection onto the short pins on the test points.

Tested on HP 8594E, suitable for the whole series (i.e. 8590L, 8591E, 8591C, 8592L, 8593E, 8594E, 8594L, 8594Q, 8595E, 8596E).

Please note these are handmade and may differ slightly from the image shown.

You may find that you have to loosen the screws holding the screening covers above the A11/A13 modules since the holes for accessing the test points are not always particularly well aligned to the boards.
